Fair Queens of the Past

2009 Queen Jessica Dixon is the daughter of Marvin and Beth Dixon of Spring City. She was a 2009 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School. She is a freshman at West Chester University. In her future, she would like to become a Neonatologist.

In high school, Jessica was a member of SADD and Best Buddies (a club that enhances the lives of people by providing opportunities for one-on-one friendship through games and activities). She was a member of her school varsity Lacrosse team. For five years she volunteered at Camp Innabah. Jessica has also volunteered at the Parkway Run in Phila. She also aids with her church clothes drive.

Jessica lists as her favorite hobbies riding her horse, Apache with friends & family on local trails, reading, running, biking and baking for family and community events and all forms of art including painting, sculpture and the performing arts.

2008 Queen Rachel Bearoff is the daughter of Eugene and Linda Kirkner of Kimberton. In the fall she will be a junior at Penn State - Berks Campus. Rachel is majoring in animal sciences. In her future, she would like to own a Doggie Daycare and a farm.

Rachel was a member of the Montgomery 4-H Livestock club for five years where she has held the position of Vice-President and President. Rachel was also a member of AALAS (American Association for Laboratory Animal Science) for four years. She has volunteered with her church make and serves dinner for people in Philadelphia with AIDs. Rachel lists working with small and large animals, pet sitting and hanging with friends as her hobbies.

Nicole Stepp is the daughter of Kathleen and Earl Stepp of Phoenixville. She is a graduate of the Center for Arts and Technology – Pickering Campus. Nicole would like to attend college to earn a business degree. She would like to eventually open her own dog business.

In high school, Nicole was involved in the 4-H Livestock Club where she showed Market Goats. Nicole was a member of the National Technical Honors Society and the Skills USA. Her favorite hobbies are showing her market goats, scrapbooking, photography and, like most girls, shopping. Nicole also enjoys spending time with her family and friends and going to the beach.

Allyson Knight was a 2007 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School. Her parents are Richard and Kathleen Knight of Pottstown. Allyson is attending Penn State college for Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management. At school, Allyson was currently involved in the Latin Club, Anchor Club, the Marching Band and the Concert Band. She was also on OJR’s fall Tennis team.

Outside of school, Allyson is employed and feels her jobs play an important role in teaching independence and the value of a hard earned dollar. When Allyson isn’t working or in school, she enjoys playing recreational tennis, scrapbooking, reading and spending time with her friends.

Danielle Kronmuller attended Center for Arts & Technology - Pickering Campus was a 2006 graduate. Her parents are Wendy Kronmuller and Dave Kronmuller of Phoenixville. Danielle is now attending Immaculata University to study Nutrition with a plan to become a Registered Dietician. Danielle was the Junior Class President, the Health Occupations Students of America President, and the SADD President. She was also an active member of the Key Club, VICA, and Student Council. Danielle was inducted into the National Honors Society in her sophomore year and the National Technical Honors Society in her Junior year. She was also a proud member of the Chester County Student Forum.

Outside of school, Danielle is employed at the Phoenixville Hospital as a Dietary Aide. Danielle also volunteers at the Kimberton Fire Company since April 2003. Danielle lists her hobbies as spending time with friends, scrapbooking, outdoor activities and working with children.

Catharine Small is the daughter of Barbara and Frank Small of Kimberton. She was a 2004 graduate of the Hill School. In the fall, Catharine will be attending the University of Delaware where she will double major in Marketing and Apparel Design.

While in high school, Catharine coordinated the Hill School’s March of Dimes team. She was involved in Operation Smile and the Reception Committee. Catharine was the manager of the Girl’s Water Polo team and played on the varsity softball team. Catharine lists reading, running, softball, spending time with family and friends, shopping and clothing design as her hobbies.

Michelle Keim, is a 2002 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School. She is the daughter of Douglas & Patricia Keim of Pottstown.

Michelle was a volunteer with the Norco Fire Company and was active with her church's Sunday school group. Michelle's hobbies include making jewelry, writing poetry, and singing. While in school, she was a member of FFA and the Navy Junior ROTC. She was also a member of Student's Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). Michelle is now a licensed nail technician and a mom.

Nicole Kollar Griffin, daughter of Edward and Kathy Kollar, was a 2001 graduate of Spring-Ford High School. Nicole attended Cedar Crest College majoring in the field of nursing. She was a volunteer with the Good Will Ambulance of Pottstown and also with the Kimberton Fire Company.

Nicole's hobbies include biking, reading, and making art. She was instrumental in starting an Art Enrichment program at Spring-Ford High School and was a member of the National Honors Society. Nicole is now married and is a nurse at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Julie Sollenberger Taney, daughter of David and Holly Sollenberger, was a 2000 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School. Her school activities include participation in Lacrosse, FFA, and DECA. Julie was also involved in her church youth group, Chester County 4-H, the Chester County Dairy Quiz Bowl team, and was a past Chester County Dairy Ambassador. Julie enjoyed showing her dairy cows at area livestock shows in her spare time. She planned to attend Penn State - Berks in the fall to major in Agriculture Business. (Julie went on to become our first State Queen) Julie is recently married, is a teacher at Owen J. Roberts High School and a member of the Kimberton Community Fair Board.

Fallon Wilson, is the daughter of Susette Wilson. She attended Owen J. Roberts High School where she was an advanced placement student who consistently received high honors while being active in Student Council, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Just Say No, Anchor Club, Key Club, Yearbook, Amnesty and school plays. She participated on the varsity swimming and softball teams and was an athletic trainer year round. She was involved in community volunteer work; student tutoring, Habitat for Humanity, American Cancer Society, church youth group, and aiding at the local senior citizens home. Fallon worked two jobs and enjoys working with kids, reading, writing poetry, hiking, and visiting various museums. (Fallon was our first Kimberton Fair Queen)
